The camper stays.

Base Camp Mode questions.
Can I leave it off the truck for days?
Yes. While the truck is away, the camper stands on its outriggers with your gear inside. In strong wind, re-check that the outriggers are secure.
Does it work on sloping ground?
Adjusting each corner outrigger takes up a moderate slope. Choose ground that's as level and firm as possible.
How long does the changeover take?
A few minutes to remove the turnbuckles, lift the camper, drive out, extend the outriggers and lower the jacks. Once you're used to it, one person can do it.
Is it included on every GOAT?
No. Base Camp Mode works once you add the lift jacks + brackets option (outriggers included). Your dealer will configure it with you when you order.

See Base Camp Mode in person.
Your dealer will demonstrate lifting the camper and driving the truck out, on a real unit.
